- Passionate about outdoor learning, constructivist and inquiry teaching methods, nature and continuing to learn and grow.
- Originally from Illinois, USA. Have lived and worked in Mississippi, Florida and Georgia, as well.
- Studied at Mississippi State University (Elementary Ed) and Valdosta State University (School Counseling)
- Worked as a program specialist for Girl Scouts in north Florida, USA.
- Have been teaching at the International School of Duesseldorf since 2000.
- Over the years have taught Reception, Prep, First, Second, Fourth and Fifth grade students at ISD.
- Taught outdoor learning to Reception (3-5 year olds) for seven years.
- Currently teaching outdoor learning to second and fourth grade students.
- My hobbies include kayaking, hiking, sewing, quilting and reading.
