Offering theory, ideas, and support to teachers wanting to acknowledge child development in education in 2024's world. Often, parents and teachers struggle to know how they can best support and prepare children for a fast-paced, techno-filled world where we are more "wired" but socially disconnected than ever before in human history.
I have spent the last year reading theories from amazing leaders in modern medicine, childhood development, and pedagogical pioneers and will condense my findings into a seminar-workshop-based session. I aim to extract the common themes from these experts and offer a thought-provoking discussion between educators about how we can ensure our students are truly ready to step out of the school system as connected, joyful, and self-loving human beings.
