Integrating Theory of Knowledge (TOK) into Subject Teaching

The session will explore the ways of integrating Theory of Knowledge in IB subjects, including MYP subjects highlighting its key elements and their relevance to subject teaching. The format will explore how TOK can support and enrich the subjects, reflect on the roles as knowers, and discuss the knowledge framework's applicability across various subjects. Through practical activities and discussions we will learn to incorporate TOK into lessons, fostering a deeper inquiry and understanding of knowledge questions within different subject areas

What’s my story? Whose stories matter? In this interactive course, we will engage with data and art to take a deep dive into the complexities of human migration. Using various Project Zero Thinking Routines and aspects of making, we will explore the perspectives of a world on the move as well as look for connections to our own classroom practices. By turning our attention to student voices and their diverse perspectives, we can build empathy and consider the interdisciplinary intersections that arise.
